In the Bach Project, violist Helen Callus perform all six of Bach’s Suites for solo cello in a series of three concerts, as preparation for an upcoming recording of these works. UCSB musicologist Derek Katz will join her to discuss the historical context of the works, and to talk with her about the process of performing and recording.
